Kongskilde

Kongskilde is renowned for its pneumatic grain conveyors, first manufactured in 1949 to eliminate the manual handling of grain in sacks. The Danish manufacturer has continued to innovate and has an unmatched understanding of the application and developed a broad range of options for many agricultural and industrial situations.

The pneumatic grain conveyor system consists of several ranges including the TRL High Pressure Blower, The SUC and SupraVac Suction Blowers and a comprehensive range of rotary valves, injectors and ducting. The electric driven TRL High Pressure Blower directs a powerful airflow down the conveying pipe, grain is introduced via a TF Injector or CAD/CAE Rotary Valve, diverters are then used to move grain easily to different locations. The smaller TRL Blowers are designed for conveying smaller quantities of grain and are commonly used to handle dust and chaff on grain drying systems. The larger blowers are belt driven to increase the RPM and capacity of the blower and may have multiple rotors. Capacity of the conveying system depends on the combination of valves and length of duct run.

The SUC and SupraVac Suction Blowers suck grain into the intake side of a blower. This is connected to a suction cyclone that separates the grain from the air. The grain drops through a rotary valve on the bottom of the cyclone into the pressure side of the blower, conveying it to the desire location where it will enter an outlet cyclone to again separate the grain from the air. The suction blowers can be powered by either three phase electric or a tractor. They are typically used as portable pieces of equipment; common applications include filling and emptying silos and loading trailers. The electric powered suction blowers have capacity up to 33 tonnes per hour and tractor driven models up to 120 tonnes per hour.

Key Features
  • Highly flexible grain handling system
  • Can convey horizontally, vertically and around corners
  • Can be powered by three phase electric or a tractor
  • Conveying pipe imposes little load on structures
  • Few mechanical components
  • Electrical installation simple in one location
  • Straightforward capacity control
Why Pneumatic Conveyors

Pneumatic conveyor systems may be mobile or fixed. The fixed systems are great for moving smaller quantities of grain along a route with a single machine. The mobile and fully self-sufficient tractor powered systems enable grain handling to be performed anywhere.

Why Kongskilde

Kongskilde pioneered the pneumatic grain handling system and have developed and refined the system over seventy years. The standard of manufacturing is high, equipment is durable and there is considerable attention to detail that ensures the equipment is simple to operate and maintain.
